Meet the Ambassadors of United Energy Around the Bay

Nick Riewoldt

Nick is a former AFL Champion, St Kilda Football Club star forward and longest serving Captain, now a media personality, keynote speaker, brand ambassador and leadership consultant.

One of the founders of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision and a member of the Maddie’s Vision board, Nick is Maddie’s oldest brother. Nick supported Maddie daily through her fight with the Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome, Aplastic Anaemia, and was inspired by her strength and courage.

“It’s a privilege to once again partner with Bicycle Network for the 2025 United Energy Around the Bay. We are incredibly thankful for their continued dedication to supporting patients and families impacted by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. This ride isn’t just about the challenge - it’s about coming together to make real change for those who need it most. We’re honoured to partner with a community that rides with such purpose and passion through this iconic cycling event."

Rebekah Stott

Rebekah Stott is Captain of the Melbourne City Women’s Football Club and three-time New Zealand Olympian. As Melbourne City’s most decorated player - and someone who has faced her own blood cancer battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma - Rebekah brings a powerful voice and a deeply personal perspective. She knows the strength it takes to face a life-threatening diagnosis at a young age, and the courage needed to keep pushing forward to achieve your dreams.

"I’m honoured to join Maddie’s Vision as an ambassador to support Australians impacted by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. Having faced my own blood cancer journey, I understand how vital research and support services are for patients and families. United Energy Around the Bay is an opportunity for us to unite through an iconic cycling event, raise vital funds, and ride to change lives."

Melissa Barbieri

Melissa Barbieri is Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper for Melbourne City Women's Football Club, former Matildas Captain, and most importantly, a proud Mum of one!

"I’m so excited to join the Maddie’s Vision family as part of United Energy Around the Bay. I am passionate about sport, family, and making a difference. Sport is a powerful way to bring out strength in the community, and every ride and every dollar raised brings us closer to better treatments and brighter futures for families facing Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes."
