My vision is a brighter future for patients living with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
I’m riding in this year's United Energy Around the Bay to help Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision fund vital research and provide support for patients living with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and their families.
Every 3 days, an Australian is diagnosed with a Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome. Distressingly, most of them are children and young adults, and 50% will not survive. Thousands more are living with ongoing complex health issues.
By supporting my ride, you're helping power the incredible research that will unlock better treatments and cures for people living with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and ensure they can access the support they need.
This will be my longest ever one-day ride - 220 kms - so I've been putting in the k's over the last couple of months so that I don't fall in a heap when I cross the finish line after 8+ hours in the saddle.

Almost ready
Tuesday 21st Oct 1,462 kms in the last 6 weeks. No grog for a month. I reckon I'm ready for Sunday's ride. Weather doesn't look too great but I can't wait to roll out at 6am on Sunday.
